Something on a Stick!

Any day is a good day to make food on a stick! B&C Wurst made bratwurst kabobs over the weekend and they were delicious! Sharing the recipe we used for your enjoyment!

Brat Kabobs

Prep time: 20 min

Grill: 15min

Makes 6 skewers


1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup bourbon

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 cups whole mushrooms

2 med sweet red pepper (cut 1 inch pieces)

1 med green pepper (cut 1 inch pieces)

1 med onion (cut into wedges)

1 package B&C bratwurst (cut 1 inch pieces)

  • In large resealable plastic bag, combine first five ingredients; add vegetables, seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Drain and reserve marinade. On six metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread the vegetables and bratwurst
  • Spoon some of reserve marinate over veggies and wurst; grill, covered, over med heat 15-20 min or until brats are no longer pink and vegetables are tender; turning and basting frequently with reserved marinade during last 5 minutes
